Patently Apple just recently confirmed a patent made by Apple this January in Europe. It was filed under Switching OS's. The Patent shows how an iMac and a MacBook could switch from OS X to iOS. The iMac would be on a swivel base and once tilted to a certain angle it would switch to iOS. Then the MacBook would have a swiveling screen that closes and leaves the screen exposed to use iOS. This would allow you to have your computer one minute and a huge iPad the next.
